The Talbot County Democratic Party’s annual Douglass Tubman Celebration has been reimagined from a traditional fundraising dinner to a FREE political fair for candidates and area voters! Join us Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 3 - 6 pm at Moton Park in Easton, Maryland.

Local, state, and federal campaign, along with a substantial number of community organizations, have been invited to set up tents/booths and the event will also feature food, drinks, and live music!

We are very excited to announce that Congressman Jamie Raskin of Maryland’s Eighth Congressional District will be this year’s keynote speaker. A proud and fierce defender of our democracy, Congressman Raskin is the best person to follow in the footsteps of Maryland’s late Congressman Elijah Cummings, our previous event’s keynote speaker. In addition to Congressman Raskin’s speech, participating candidates will be given the opportunity to address the crowds, as well. There has never been a better opportunity for citizens of Talbot County to meet and speak with their future elected officials!
